How persuasive was your commercial? What were your strengths and weaknesses in this assignment? How could your product have been better served to the audience?
Hm, well Kelsey and I did it jokingly, so I guess it wasn't very persuasive at all. And we didn't say it was 'mad comtherable' so that threw us off a couple of points. Are strengths were that it was pretty darn funny! And we could improve by being more committed to it instead of ripping on it all the time.
Yeah, Sam and I made a complete joke out of our Snuggie commercial. But I think that we made it persuasive in a different sort of way, like we tried to make it funny and interesting. I think that our only problem was that we didn't focus on the actual uses of the product, but on the other hand, that made our commerical funnier.
it was mucho persuasive. our strengths were that it was mad comfy and that it was awesome. our weaknesses were that it was mad tough to get the thing to stay on my nose that was rough. it could have better served the audience by it being real cause its totally awesome
dana and i were trying to make fun of when teachers assign alot of homework and you bitch about it and then you wish you could make them forget you ever had homework . i think we couldve done a better job, but i think we did an okay job. i had fun with it, and i think that we were pretty persuasive.
I think that our soup wouldnt sell very good because of its name and what people will think about it. The strengths were that we did make it funny that a soup lady comes from no where and all of a sudden everything is better. Our weakness was that i dont think we influenced many people to want to try it. To better serve to the audience we could have talked about the price and how specifically it makes you feel better. Again, maybe a different name would make people want to eat it more.
Me and Kerry's commercial showed what the "Forgetful Apple" was used for, and how it worked, pretty well. I think some people were confused when we changed scenes in the middle. We could have used a better method instead of the switching of the scenes. It was fun to come up with the skit and I liked how we could make up our own products. It was fun overall and in the future I would try to be even more persuasive by possibly changing parts of the commercial.
i think that ours was very persuasive. Lea and i brought in plenty of winter clothes and we got the reaction from the audience that we were hoping for. i liked the product we thought of, because it is very sensible. i just wish the nosemuff stuck to Aaron's nose a little better
I think our soup commercial delivered all the hard hitting facts without pushing the audience too far away. The inclusion of the "soup genie" also did well becuase everyone likes genies, right? Yeah! I mean just look how successful Aladdin was! Also i felt that showing how sick and disgusted my character was with all the other soups helped show how picky he was. And when he was won over by the soup, you could really tell how powerful it was...alright im gonna go eat some soup, this is tiring.
Our commercial was silly and fun but im honestly not sure how persuasive it was. i totally would have bought, but thats just me. the costume and lame 80's added music sung by the wonderful danielle made the commercial fun. our weaknesses was that we might have made it a little more sassy and cooler looking but thanks to danielle's issue with the airport security thats all we could use. if we could do it again then i would have needed a little more time and to organize it a little bit better
Our commercial was funny and entertaining, but it could have been more persuasive. Jess's awesome outfit and her awesome moves definatly made me want to buy our "finger buffers".
Me and melissa did a commercial on Super Chuggerz =] i think we both did a good selling the product and making fun of current markets today. Our commercial was thought out well and i think we worked together well too
I thought our commercial was pretty persuasive, though the product was obviously completely useless. But a dumb, not-thinking person might have bought it ;D It was very funny and especially we had a lot of fun performing. We could have come up with a better "nose", but it was a little hard to find something that looked like a "nose muff", so I think our solution wasnt that bad :)
Teacher Glasses 9000 i thought that our commercial was pretty good. our product was a little bulky and awkwardto have on though. im sure that if this product was real, our chances on making any profit would be slim to none. we seemed to get a positive reaction from the rest of the class with their comments and laughter. i think the corniness of the commercial (especially the pharses), made it a success.
I think our commercial was slightly persuasive. We were selling Awake Pills and I think I could've done more to show I was tired before taking the pill. I also think the script could've been longer by just a bit. All in all I think we did a good job showing how the Awake pill gets you up and going.

ReplyDeletei didn't do as well as i thought i would. We tried to make it funny but we took the wrong steps to do that.

ReplyDelete^^^^^^THAT COMMENT WAS FROM LAUREN ZEHNER NOT DANIELLE GAMBARDELLA!!!
ReplyDeleteMy commerical could have been improved because the stage acting part wasnt really planned out well. And the lines weren't really selling the product.
ReplyDeleteThe teacher glasses 9000, was a great product and i think we sold it very well with our catchy phrases. yeaa
