  1. Hmmm, well a big difficulties I find is actully memorizing the script. It's just a lot. My strength is the emotion I put into it. My weakness is that I can't to a hard core ghetto accent, and that's problematic. I'm going to practice in my room over break. A lot.

  2. It's been hard memorizing the script and my stage directions, seeing as I'm the only person in my group that has any directions. My strength is that I can change my character's personality to make the scene more interesting, but my character also has a few lines that really don't make sense if said a certain way (she says 'what?' at least five times for no reason.) To strengthen the scene I've been practicing at home with my family.

  3. well mines like mad short so when were done we didnt really know what to do so we had a tough time finding something to do. the strengths was that its a pretty easy so aint to tough to at out and stuff. the weakness of it is that it doesnt make any sense so its tough to get into character. by acting really good we can overcome it. maybe get way more into then i did.

  4. i was kinda apprehensive with the whole being a guy thing, and it was kinda hard to memorize the script. Im also kinda upset that me, demi and kelsy couldnt go up because kelsy was out but its ok. im still perpared to get into character.

  5. Mine and Chrissy's is kinda long compared to everyone elses so I was nervous that it would be a lot harder to memorize, but its not as bad as I thought. I really like our play and Im excited to perform it. Its really funny because the people we are in the play is how we are in real life. I am always the neat freak and hang around in her room and she is the one who doesnt really care about being clean and is always kicking me out of her space hahah how ironic. During rehearsal I didn't put as much emotion as I have to for the actual performance but I will =]

  6. i feel that the easiest part is showinbg emotion, as long as you put yourself in the character, it isn't very hard. i think that the hardest part was memorizing lines, especially when you have long lines to memorize. props are also a good thing they help you get into character too

  7. I was not as motivated and did not get completely into character when we practiced in class and when no one was watching. Also it took me a while to memorize the lines. A benefit we have in this scene is that we really have experience with the characters. We sometimes fight just like these people and even though she thinks shes neater we can pretend. A weakness is that i dont know if we will be able to make people laugh. To overcome this, we will have to get very into the scene.

  8. This character is pretty funny which helps me a lot. He also reminds me a lot of a comical Willy Lowman (so basically George Costanza if you know Seinfeld) which helps me ease into the character a lot. As for the lines part I'm pretty decent with memorizing lines so thats not too much of a problem. Although it is quite a bit of dialogue but as long as I get the main message of whats suppose to happen then its alright if I slip up. Its a really fun scene though and I''m looking forward to it.

  9. just really getting a feel of who and where you are as a developing character was one of the hardest parts. now that i figured out who my character really is, its totally fun to get into it and its so easy now. just constantly going through the lines helps when one of us is stuck and once we get the props it will be a lot easier to relate to the situation. just really staying in the moment and sticking to each other and who we are supposed to be will keep us going through out the scene

  11. I struggled the most with memorizing the blocks of lines at a time. I overcame this by practicing. I also sturggle to keep an accent.

  12. I have the same problem as sam with my scene. We both had monolouges so memorizing took time, also the accent is going to be a challenge but im hoping that we will be able to pull it all together!

  13. My guy was a serious dude which was difficult for me to act out. Also he was like a goof with the baby which is pretty funny. The easiest part was acting like Jess was nuts, but the stuff she is saying is crazy. Overall i like my character and scene.

  14. A problem we had with our script was trying to figure out how to bring props in and who was going to bring them in. Another problem with me was the lines, even though they are not as hard as other peoples scrips, it is the first time i have to memorize something this big.

  15. I had to memorize quite a lot since our scene is pretty long, but I usually dont have a lot of problems with memorizing stuff so that wasnt to hard for me. What was a little bit challenging was that after we went over the scene a couple of times, we were tempted to talk too fast and make it a little bit boring through that. But then we always changed it a little bit like adding our own lines or switching charackters for once etc which helped to make it more interesting and play around with the lines.

  16. unfortunatley, our script is the shortest so we have to just keep running lines over and pver. each time we try to get more and more into it and see what we can do to make it better. a lot of my lines don't really seem to fit with the rest of the script so at times it becomes confusing. we also never got a chance to rehearse on stage so our blocking was a little hard to work out. on the upside, since it is very short, lines are simple to memorize so we are able to focus on our emotions, body language, and interactions with each other more. one thing that we have to be sure to do is stay in character because when rehearsing, we both tend to laugh a bit when the random lines come into play. over all i think that we have done a good job with rehersals and im sure we will both do well in our performance.

  17. Um like most people the most difficult part was accualy memorizing the scrpit. Some of my strenghts were that I portated a women so it was easy acting like one. A weakness is that one of my partners was really that loud so i forgot the spot that we were at a lot. Also my group kept laugting at me :). I read them over in front of a mirror and it really wotks. I could of accualy rehersed it more.

  18. My biggest difficulty was getting into character because I didn't have much to work with in the beginning. Also, what to do with the set and props was also a challege.I felt that memorizing my lines was easy. I felt like I overcame the challenge by bringing in the suitcase and just trying to imagine myself as Polly. The scene could've been better if we didn't skip around the script on the final performance.
