  1. THE HANGOVER

the hangover was freakin hilarious there was not one point during the movie that i wasnt laughing. this was all due to the amazing acting done by the movies main actors bradley cooper, zach galifianakis, and ed helms. the movie follows the four men on a wild night in vegas for a bachelor part but during the night they lose the groom and go on a wild ride trying to find him. bradley cooper seems to always play the dickhead in movies but in this one he was a dickhead yes but also a really concerned friend. ed helms you may know is the guy from the office and in this movie is insanley funny and is consistently mocking zachs character. finally zach galifianakis (fat jesus) is the funniest person in this movie every line he says is funny and it is all epic. oh and a lil side thing ken jeong the asian doctor dude from knocked up is in it and hes the man.

  2. FINDING NEVERLAND

johnny depp played the guy who wrote peter pan. and that kid from arthur and the invisibles is in it too. johnny had to play a guy who was an adult but had the imagination of a child. he had to switch from one to the other so that he could be both a writer and a child coming up with all the ideas. it was a good movie and freddie highmore thats his name did a good job too but its not hard for a kid to play a kid. all in all good movie

  3. RED EYE

i thought that this was a great and suspenseful movie. the guy who plays the murderer is very scary even when hes not in action. the look on his face shows us that he is bad. when he talks and moves around it is a clear enforcement of that assumption. what made him so good at his part was that he stayed in character the entire time and you constantly had this horrific vision of him. you fear him yourself and that really lets you understand what the girl, rachel mcadams, is feeling. the fact that his eyes were so ridiculously blue also contributed to the scary look and desire in his eyes. techniques he used to build up the suspense was strangling her and chasing after her. His character had a goal and would not rest until he was finished. He was committed to carry out his mission and was determined.

  4. Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street

this movie is about a barber who lost his wife and daughter to a wealthy judge, and was forced to flee London. the story begins when he returns to London, to continue being a barber. i feels that everyone deserves to die, and uses his shaving razors to slit their throats.
although this is a very disturbing movie, i felt that Johnny Depp played Sweeney Todd insanely well. I believed he was crazy five minutes into the movie.

  5. PROM NIGHT

its weird that ive seen like 4 scary movies and i chose to write about them both but they are the easiest to ..analyze. so this was a movie that had a lot of killing in it. the murderer used to be a teacher of this girl. he became obsessed with her and started stalking her. He was committed to destroy everyone in her life so that all she would have left was him. this included her mom, dad, brother, boyfriend, and her close friends. the mans body language truly gives off a creepy vibe when he is acting. even without all the sound effects and backround, you would still feel scared. He has a goal to kill everyone and make her realize they should be together. He dosent let anyone get in his way and even kills the maid to acheive this goal as well. technigques he uses to make the audience fear him is chasing her friends and killing them, constantly following her. Also when the guards at the jail are talking to him. HE gets very emotional when he sees her with her boyfriend because he wants to be with her insteaed. he never breaks facial expresssion or character

  7. Mean Girls to this day is still one of my favorite movies. It is funny and it really does put a whole new perspecitve on the outlook of high school. Regina George played by Rachel McAdams is amazing. She is one of my favorite actresses. She plays playing the Queen bee of high school so well. Her contagiousness of people yearning to worship her even though she is a straight out snob is impressive. While she is playing the role you hate her and love her at the same time. That very hard to pull and she does a good job with it. In the movie it shows how all the clicks arise in high school but in the end isolating youself in separate groups is not the answer. having an open mind and expressing the true people we are not just what are friends think is really important.

  8. Yes Man with Jim Carrey is one of the funniest movies ever. I love his energy and excitment. He can make any movie good just with the way he can capture an audience. His facial expressions are the cherry on top to his amazing talent. Everything he says makes me want to crack up laughing. His originality is out of control. In the movie he kind of beats to his own drum and is close minded to the world. After he goes to a convention he is forced to say yes to any opportunity that comes his way. This allows him to live a more open minded life where he explores and discovers things he never imagined. It is amazing to see how much his life turned around just by opening up to the world. I loved this movie even though it is silly it really does give a good message to have a positive attitude and keep an open mind.

    Rent!
rent was a broadway play that had its last performance about a year ago.
Rent is a production that shows the hardships of the homeless, gays, and people with AIDS. It shows romance, heartbreak, and the feeling of losing someone close to you. i feel that each and every character in both the play and the movie showed total dedication to their parts. not only do i love this play, but i cry everytime i see it. this play/movie is amazing.

  10. Paranoid Park.

Paranoid Park is probably a movie that i can watch over and over again and not get bored of it. Between the suspense of a skateboarder who accidently kills a police officer and the way that he deals with his thoughts after the accident have you wanting to know more. It is confusing at first but when you have watched it more than once, you start to get it and point out things that you didn't notice the first time around. Also no matter how many times i watch the movie, i still get grossed out when they show the scene when the skateboarder kills the police officer, he gets run over by a train and gets sliced in half. The effects are so real that you see the body cut in half, his intestines hanging out and crawl a little before he looses so much blood and dies.
You get sweaty palms and want to know if the detective will figure out if he killed the guy or not. Of course at the end of the movie you see the skateboarder very depressed, not knowing how to clear his mind from what happened. His friend,a girl tells him to write everything that is in his head onto a piece of paper like a letter and write it to someone. Than after writing it all down to clear his mind, she tells him to burn it. The scene is on a beach after he writes the letter, than burns it and the movies ends. I feel that the ending suited the movie but i would have liked to see what happened with the detective.

  11. Yes, first Twilight entry!!*!@#$%^&*(*&^%$#@#$%^&*(*&^%$#@#$%^&*(

ok so when i first heard about twilight i thought it was gonna be stupid. I mean everyone was obsessing with it, and when people do that usually i tend to rebel against it and either diss it or make fun of the people who are obsessed with it. But one night my cousin asked if i wanted to watch it and i decided to see what everyone was "obsessing" about. After the movie i realized that it was not a bad movie at all, it was good and i enjoyed it a lot. Now i have actually spent a weekend watching it every night. haha, so yeah, i don't know i think that i shouldn't have judged it the way i did. Mmmmm Edward Cullen had me on my toes with his romantic acting and his ways of protecting Bella. Bella though annoys me. Personally i think Kristen Stewart seems to be an angry person, just because of how she presents herself. I don't really like her as an actress not because she got to kiss Robert Pattinson but because she doesn't really interest me in her works like others do. I don't think i will be reading any of the books, but i do think that i will see all the other movies to the series just to see what happens, because once i've seen the first, i have to see the rest or its not even worth it.

I LOVE TWILIGHT AND IM NOT AFRAID TO ADMIT IT ANYMORE !!!!!!!!

    hahah ^^

  12. Forest Gump

Forest Gump is the longest movie ever, but it’s so good. It’s about the life of Forest Gump, meeting and seeing all different kind of famous historical characters and events, from Vietnam over China to several Presidents. Forest Gump is intellectually disabled, which is why he doesn’t really recognize the famous characters’ and events’ significance. I really liked the movie. It is very funny, too, but it has a serious plot. On top, there is kind of a love story build in, too. Forest eventually marries Jenny, who he knows since he was a child. It is very sad and emotional when she dies in the end due to a serious illness, leaving Forest and their little boy behind.
Tom Hanks plays the role of Forest Gump amazing. He is so authentic and always stays in character. He portrays the mental disability very good and credibly. Trough his very brave and gentle actions he conquers the heart of every spectator. His childish behavior makes him even more adorable. The way he talks, moves, and acts, make him the great character we see. His kind of slow speaking emphasizes his character choice greatly.
Forest Gump as a child is played by Michael Conner Humphreys. He plays it very convincing, too. He has to walk with his “magical shoes”, which actually prevent him from being able to really walk, all the time. A very happy, emotional moment is when little Forest runs away from some older guys that are chasing him, and he runs and runs, until his braces break and he is finally free.
I can only recommend this movie!!!

    The Exorcist

The Exorcist was the scariest movie I’ve ever seen. Though it is so old and supposed to be actually more funny than scary nowadays, it scared me to death.  Basically, it is about a young girl, Regan, who is possessed by a evil demon, Pazuzu. Her mother, Chris, is desperately searching for help. In the end, two priests get rid of the demon trough an exorcism. However, both priests who freed little Regan die in the dramatic ending of the movie.
I was amazed by the little girl’s acting skills. Her horror is so authentic and scares the spectator to death (at least me ). It must be really hard and challenging for a little girl to act really, really scared. Even more difficult is that is has to look credible. But Linda Blair did a great ob with it.
The monster is however played by an adult actress. She does an amazing job as well. I’m sure special features helped a lot to make her look as scary and horrifying as she does in the movie, but playing a horrible monster is nevertheless not easy at all, especially because there is no way she could have been able to identify in some way with her character.
I do recommend this movie, but only for those who love horror movies!!!

  13. Romeo & Juliet (1996)
Okay, well for starters I love Leo DiCaprio so that kind of made it easy for me to love this movie. Romeo and Juliet tells the story of two star-crossed lovers who were doomed from the start. One thing I really enjoyed about this is that the director chose to make the movie take place in modern times despite the fact that he kept the original Shakespearean script. Both Leo DiCaprio and Claire Daines were able to work through the Shakespearean language and depict everything as if it was present day which to me seems like a difficult.

    The Titanic
I told you I was a leo fan. hah. Ok well titanic tells the story of two people who fall in love while sailing and despite the fact that the ship hits an iceberg and sinks, they stick together bc their love is so strong. Both Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, putting aside the fact that they are in two completely different leagues in this movie seem like they truely are in love. The chemistry is so real and amazing and everytime i watch this movie i cry bc their love for each other is so beautiful and true.

  14. Slumdog Millionaire
This was one of the best movies I have ever seen. The lead actor and actress-- Dev Patel and Freida Pinto-- were beleivable all the way through, and had a very realistic relationship. Even the actors and actresses that portrayed their characters as children were excellent. The directors made a point not to change the setting of the movie very much to make it realistic, and it definitely paid off. Overall, I would definitely reccommend for people to see this movie because it was inspirational, and even showed insight to existing problems in the world.

  15. Slumdog millionare

WOW! This has to be my new favorite movie. The directing, acting, and everything about it was amazing. Going back into his life after each question was a great idea. This movie made me feel excited, happy, and almost tear-worthy sad. Every actor portrayed there character fantasic and thats why i think it made it such a realistic movie. Also the setting of the movie and making it so realistic was a key part of this film. I would recommend this film to everyone. Best Movie of the Year!

    The Titanic
I watched this movie back when i was a youngin and then just recently seen it again. This movie is so sad. Two lovers meet from different social and economic classes and fall in love. The realistic ways they portrayed the ship made it amazing, a mansion in the water. The lead actor and actress had such amazing chemistry with eachother as if they knew eachother for there hole life. When the ship hit the iceberg and everyone paniced throughout the hole ship and how the actors reacted was amazing, it seemed like the ship was really sinking! Just a classic and amazing movie!

The sharks are a gang the are made of of Puerto Ricans and the jets and native New Yorkers. They are rivals and one of the Jets falls in love with one of the head sharks sister (Tony and Maria) The whole story is Romeo & Juliet in a musical form. The woman who played Anita(Karen Olivo)won the Tony award for this role. I recommend that you see it. I advise that you see the movie first because this show is bi-lingual. 19. Titanic-
this is one of the most amazing movies out there. it has such a powerful history along with a powerful love story. i love the time period it is in. i am always told i was born in the wrong era and i would love to be there when everyone is always dressed up with old fashioned ways. this movie really gets me emotionally because the ending is so sad and realistic and i cant even imagine what was going through all of their minds at that time. but no matter how sad, it is such a wonderful movie that is so moving.

  20. Fools rush in-
this movie so so so funny! starring matthew perry and salma hayek, he goes to las vegas for a job to build a night club, they meet at a mexican restaraunt and end up spending the night together. he wakes up to find her gone and never hears from her again. until about three months later when she shows up at his door step to tell him that she is pregnant. The spend the night with her family and it quickly hits him that she loves her. They decide to get married. The rest of the movie is the funny yet hard struggle between pregnancy, love, family and marriage. I wouldn’t have thought so , but matthew perry and salma hayek actually had a lot of on screen chemistry and made the movie great.

  21. Taken-
This is such a thrill. Watching this movie was such a ride. I was off of my seat and I loved every minute of it. Watching this movie got me a little scared because next person I talk to could be a bad guy so it got me kind of paranoid. Watching the chase and going back and forth was so interesting and really well put together. Watching the father in so much pain was so upsetting for me. The acting in this movie was amazing. Also the fighting scenes were really good because they looked so real. this became one of my favorite movies as soon as i turne it on. it grabbed me and i thought kinda put out a powerful sort of message.

  22. Three Men and a Baby -->
This movie was extremely funny. The actors in this movie were very commited to their roles and used good techniques to portray them. This movie was about 3 men who have to take care for an infant while getting mixed up in a drug smuggling investigation. It keeps you laughing and interested the whole time.

    Taken -->
Taken is a thrilling movie. It has a great plot, and definitely keeps you waiting to know what happens. It is full of adventure, and the acting was well done. The main character was played well anhd appears that the role was well researched because the spy role was believable.
